Greg Platt

After completing a BSc Computer Science degree in 1997, Greg was employed by Leeds University, England to further develop the Virtual Science Park project. The work at the University involved cutting edge web technologies that inspired him to embark on a career in web development.
In 1998 he took the role as a web developer with a successful web design agency, Sense Internet. Learning skills in CGI/DHTML/Javascript and Java he developed numerous web solutions for leading international companies (British Airways, Guy's & St. Thomas' Hospital Trust, Helly Hansen). In 1999 he went on to pursue his career abroad landing work as a contractor for IBM GSA. Utilising his web skills he supported the development team on work for Telstra, Ansett and Fosters. In 2000 he took a fulltime position as a senior web integrator at Kusp Ltd. where he worked on e-commerce solutions for Spotlight, kiosk solutions for BP and 3D solutions for Expohire, Holden, Microsoft and Levis.
