PowerFront has an immediate need for freelance Copywriters for ongoing work in electronic communications.

Typical Assignments

Develop appropriate communications for our client’s websites. Be a key part of the creative process, and contribute to business goals, through generation of effective marketing communications messages for some of Australia's leading retailers and firms. Craft effective, accurate and consistent copy reflecting client's values, culture and objectives.

Planning

• You will be notified of an upcoming job through our job system
• You will be briefed by the project manager to understand objectives and copy requirements
• Where required, you will be communicating with our clients to fully understand business and product positioning, marketing objectives and strategies

Execution

• Create appropriate and effective copy as it relates to Web Marketing within agreed-to schedules
• Manage all copy approvals within Web Marketing and Marketing Communications, with subject matter experts and business services
• Provide timely status updates, including maintenance of tasks in ticket systems and project plans

Measurement

• Accurate, effective and error-free copy
• Copy to support given objectives 
• Timely delivery of copy and overall projects within defined schedules

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of marketing copywriting experience targeting both consumer and business-to-business customers
• Ability to handle multiple projects within tight timelines
• Demonstrated ability to write for electronic communications

Skills

• A strong command of the English language
• Strong copywriting, grammatical and overall communications skills, plus familiarity with accepted copy conventions and style guidelines
• Writing experience at an e-commerce, agency or service-oriented company is desired
• A solid understanding of (or aptitude for) technical aspects of web-based online services and/or web development processes
• Technical competence on Windows platforms using standard Office applications
• Experience with website localization and familiarity with European foreign languages is desirable
• Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills
• Proven attention to detail and strong organisational skills to manage multiple projects
• Self-motivated, flexible team member who is well suited for a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Education

• Bachelor Degree in Communications, Marketing or related field
