Why Good Shepherd was chosen:
Good Shepherd provides services to those on low income and disadvantaged young people and families who may be experiencing isolation, unemployment, homelessness, disabled and victims of domestic violence. Support includes

• Providing no interest loans
• Low interest loans
• Sourcing necessities
• Counselling
• Services offered to often disadvantaged society groups including prisoners
• Provides a refuge to women and children suffering domestic violence
• Providing meals at schools where children are known to have come from marginalised backgrounds
• Supporting children academically and socially through mentor programs
