Meet the Boss: Powerfront in New York City

Earlier this spring, Powerfront hosted a “Meet the Boss” dinner event in New York City. The Powerfront executive team, consisting of Powerfront’s CEO and founder Hadar Paz, Director of Business Development Chelsea Dawson, VP of Operations Shanelle Willson, and Director of Sales and Marketing Matt Cerche, were joined by executives from Cartier, Calvin Klein, Tory Burch, Revlon, Macy’s, Luxottica, Equinox and several others at the Benjamin Hotel in Midtown Manhattan for a night of networking, knowledge, and fabulous food.

The evening began with a cocktail reception where guests mingled and networked, followed by a question and answer panel featuring Shanelle Willson, Geoff Henderson, Senior Product Manager of Digital Business Operations at Sephora, Behzad Soltani, Chief Digital Officer of Movado Group, and Scott Emmons, Chief Technology Officer at the Current Global, who had previously brought INSIDE by Powerfront to Neiman Marcus where he spearheaded the Innovation Lab for thirteen years.

The panelists discussed differentiation of luxury brands, how to foster a connection with online customers that feels genuinely personal, best practices for retailers to effectively deploy AI chat bots to gain customer loyalty and trust, the benefits of proactive chat, and the role of omni channel software in targeting the right customer at the right time. CEO and founder Hadar Paz also presented INSIDE’s unique customer engagement solution and showcased how live chat and messaging are the keys to delivering in-store customer experiences online.

The panel was followed by a three-course gourmet meal, prepared by the National Bar and Dining Rooms, celebrity chef Geoffrey Zakarian’s elegant restaurant, and the wine and champagne flowed amid discussions of delivering on brand promises in the digital environment and reducing customer friction online. Attendees were intrigued by the presentation of the INSIDE platform and walked away with new knowledge on how to bridge the digital gap in customer experience, and insight as to how luxury-tailored live chat software like INSIDE can help.
